Old Brigade Fundraising Update – 2016.09.25
Following our Old Brigade Project Fundraising Campaign in May and June, it is time to provide the Class with an update on where we stand with respect to our goal of raising $150,000 for the Currie Hall Refurbishment Project. The latest numbers, effective 31 Aug, are:
- Donations Received by the Foundation – $105,599
- Pledged through monthly donations until Oct 2017 – $12,680 (18 people)
- People who have committed to donate in the future – $16,500 (three known donations for $7,500 plus 9 other commitments of, hopefully, at least $1,000 each)
- Total Potential Donations to Date – $134,779
Many thanks to our classmates who have already stepped up and generously donated to the project. But as you can see, we are still approximately $15,300 (with some assumptions) from reaching our goal
The Fundraising Committee really needs your help to raise the remaining money. We have a tremendous project that we can all be proud of as a Class. So we are asking you to please support our efforts in reaching the Class goal. Donations can be made on line (https://www.rmcfoundation.ca/index.php/ways-to-give/donate-now/) or through the RMC Foundation staff ((888) 386-3762). Please contact me if you have any questions about making a donation.
I wish to acknowledge the tremendous job done by the Class Fundraising Team in getting us this far – Lawrence McDonough, Bill Simms, Bruce McAlpine, Ross Judd, Bob Sloat, Jean Drouin, Don Kennedy and Larry Lashkevich.
Ken Hague (Chair Fundraising Committee)
